This quarter, if we make a profit, we hope to support:

Giv3 Our Time is a volunteer-based organisation feeding homeless people and providing support throughout Brisbane. Founded by a former rough sleeper, Giv3 Our Time runs by the motto - Real people, Real stories, Real experience; Now making changes within our communities.

We operate on the unceded lands of the Yuggera and Turrbal peoples. Pay the Rent is a grassroots initiative, with a focus on protecting First Nations rights, including practical support.
Amount raised so far: $200 -
Currently Bloom Op Shop accepts clothing for adults only, so any baby or children's clothing that is included in our intake bags are given to Baby Give Back, a Gold Coast charity aiming to give children a safe start to life by providing essential items to families in crisis.

Valley Hearts is a small, volunteer-based charity that seeks to support the marginalised community of the wider Fortitude Valley area through food, flea market, accomodation furnishing and more!
Amount raised: $200 -
Bloom Op Shop provides mutual aid through supporting the Street Fridge & Pantry at West End Community House.
Alongside food, we have provided warm winter clothing, and clothing vouchers. -
We receive far more bras than we sell, so we are currently collection a parcel full of bras to send to Support the Girls. Support the Girls empowers vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated women and girls with access to professionally fitted bras, essential products and the support needed to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

On Christmas 2023, our founder distributed requested menswear, activewear and shoes to the community of rough sleepers affected by the Christmas storms that obliterated and soaked many belongings.
Amount: 5 boxes of clothing and shoes -
We receive a high volume of shoes, but most do not pass our Grade A standard and end up in pay-per-kilo. We have bimonthly free shoe events, where our community can pick up a new pair for free!
Amount: 440 free pairs of shoes given away

We have donated 6 x suitcases filled with blankets, bedding and other necessities in good condition that we don't accept to Northwest Community Group to distribute within their network.
Please note: we do not accept these items, we are trying to ensure they are put best to use.

We have gifted children's clothing and accessories to local business Sprout and Swap! These items will be sold for an affordable price, or donated to Baby Give Back and other places in their network as needed!
